I am using a Unix Server. I deleted a subdomain using cPanel

I am using a Unix Server. I deleted a subdomain using cPanel. But it is still there and mirrors my site ??

delete the directory corresponding to the subdomain

It can take a while for domain name information to propagate through all the Internet's name servers (up to 72 hours).

Also, your computer may have cached the information that links your subdomain to your website, and therefore even if other people can't access the domain name, you may still be able to though at no fault of the website/server.
