Get the classic book that has been around since 1991 (or so)HTML 4 for Dummies (other editions have earlier, older versions of HTML)

View the source of any web page. How you do this depends on what browser you use, so check your browser's documentation for instructions.

One of the best sites is the http://www.w3schools.com you'll learn the W3C code standarts for developing web pages. You can also learn another languages there.
