Hi
I've just been wondering, if I break a domain name into parts using a hyphen then would this affect the words that it is most likely to be picked up on a search engine?
domain names with hypen are not good when it comes to branding, really, you cannot brand that name, domain names without hyphens are more powerful because you can change the domain to anything else you want..
but when it comes to SEO while chooisng domain name, I believe hyphens play a good role and your domain gets good ranking, for example
I saw a domain name called http://*swish*it.com now thats basically for Swish IT but as a search engine bot you cannot read it, is it swishIT or swiSHIT so I have personally researched and seen the domains with hypehns reaching good sep while usig the exact keywords and separating them with hyphens..
another example search "gimp tutorials" in google and see the top 10 domains listed.. _________________ cheers
